Life Church Farmington is a non-denominational, Spirit-filled ministry with people from a wide variety of religious backgrounds and traditions who enjoy worshipping the Lord together regardless of their previous denominational affiliation. Life Church was established in 1989 for the purpose of providing a quality atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to mature the saints so they can become effective lights in their world and the salt in their community. Our church moto is "Serving Him by Serving Others."

We do not believe ourselves to be an exclusive group who think we are the only Christians.  We gladly welcome all individuals no matter where they are in their spiritual journey.  We gladly accept and acknowledge, as fellow members of the Body of Christ, all people who confess Jesus Christ as their Lord to become members of our church body. 

Our purpose and goal is to encourage all people in their spiritual journey so each can make heaven their home at the appropriate appointed time. We will walk beside and encourage everyone no matter if you are just starting to explore what it means to believe in Jesus or have known Christ your whole life. 

Our worship services are based on the Word of God and are spontaneous and informal and are filled with joyous praise which include a rich blend of contemporary choruses as well as classic inspiring hymns. We are not formal or ritualistic in our worship but rather consider our worship to be a time of celebration and praise for what the Lord has done, is doing and will do as we move forward in our journey together with Him. 

The founder and Pastor of Life Church is Leon Miller. He was called in the the ministry at the early age of 17 and has actively pursued ministry since that time. He has taught Bible studies, been a Sunday school teacher and a youth director all while serving in the military assisting the chaplain in various religious roles. 

He is a graduate of RHEMA Bible College, Southwestern Assemblies of God College. He previously attended the Baptist Bible college in Nashville, Tennessee and was an ordained Baptist minister before making the transition to a non-denominational setting. 

He has an Associates Degree in Pastoral Care, a Bachelor's degree in Church Ministries, a Master's degree in Biblical Theology and has four units of Clinical Pastoral Education from Barnes Jewish Hospital.

He has also served as a Chaplain with the Missouri Department of Corrections in a level five maximum security prison. 

Pastor Leon and his wife Anne have 2 children, 4 granddaughters and have spent the majority of their life in Missouri. They have devoted their lives to encouraging believers to do their best to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and to walk in obedience to the written word of God. 

• We believe the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God to humanity.
• We believe in the Divine Trinity, that God is One, but is manifested in three persons -Father, Son, and Holy Spirit- being co-equal and co-eternal.
• We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit.
• We believe that salvation is a gift of God to humanity, separate from work and the Law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, thereby producing works acceptable to God. 
• We believe in water baptism by immersion in water as a direct commandment of the Lord and that this ordinance is for all believers as a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
• We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Chist to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the New Birth. 
• We believe that healing is provided for the physical illness of the human body and made available through the atonement of Christ and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands.
• We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ shall return for the Church and that His coming is imminent. 
• We believe that following the Tribulation, Jesus will return to earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords and together with His saints, He shall reign on earth for a thousand years.
• We believe that those who die in their sins without accepting Christ as their Savior are eternally lost and therefore have no further opportunity of repenting.
